Bangalore: CII Karnataka is organizing the “Eighth India Innovation Summit 2012” on 30th and 31st August 2012 at Hotel Leela Palace in Bangalore. The Theme for the Eighth India Innovation Summit is "India Innovates for the World ". This India Innovation Summit explores the vibrant business environment in terms of opportunities & challenges and takes a closer look at the emergence of India innovating for the world. Since its inception in 2005, the India Innovation Summit has brought together over 4000 experts, practitioners and innovators from diverse backgrounds to discuss and deliberate on 'Innovation'.

Through these years, the Innovation Summits could discuss topics like: ‘Innovation: An imperative, not a luxury’, ‘Innovating for Emerging India’, ‘Innovation in India’, ‘Innovation in the 21st Century’, ‘Role of Innovation in an Economic Downturn - The India Advantage’, ‘Making a difference in an Emerging Economy’, and ‘Innovation – Making Bangalore the Innovation Hub of Asia’.
