Bhubaneswar: The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar added yet another milestone to its illustrious academic legacy with the launch of its International Journal of Development and Social Research (IJDSR). The XIMB already has four research journals to its credit -- Vilakshan, Journal of Research Practice, Research World and Journal of Case Research. The Journal is a bi-annual peer reviewed research journal of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, (XIMB), India. The journal is committed to encourage both theoretical and empirical research in the field of development studies, studies on environmental changes, anthropological and other issues related to social research. The reason for expanding the journal base is to enhance the research and intellectual capital output of the Institute both in qualitative and quantitative terms, said an XIMB release. The IJDSR is significant since it has a focus on development and social issues. It, therefore, extends management education and research into the world of socio-economic development. It is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed journal published in June and December. The journal's editorial board consists of academicians and researchers from India, Belgium, England and the Netherlands.
