UBC postdoctoral students will each receive a $70,000, two-year Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship award towards advancing their research.

Established by the Canadian government with the intention to attract and develop the world’s best postdoctoral researchers, the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships grants 70 new fellowships annually, with funding provided through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
