New Delhi: The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, presented the ‘Brain Hunt-2012: National Level Creative Competition’ awards to students at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The competition was organized by Dainik Bhaskar Group for students from class I-XII.

Later while interacting with students, the President answered questions relating to recreation facilities for the youth and the role of youth in the development of nation. The President felt that academic institutions should also focus on providing good recreation facilities to their students, as a healthy mind and a healthy body are equally important for the development of an individual. The President opined that India has good human resource and it must be molded in a proper fashion. On the other hand, the youth must learn to work together and have a sense of duty and civic sense. The President further emphasized on the need to eliminate evil social practices such as female foeticide, child marriage and addiction from society.

The function was also attended by the Executive Director, of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, Dr. Bharat Agarwal and the Vice President, Sales and Marketing Development of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, Shri Vinay Maheshwari.
