Aligarh : The Women's Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh has announced the last date for the submission of applications for six month different courses.

Mrs. Iffat Ara Bano, Principal Women's Polytechnic said that 2nd Batch of Training for Six Month Skill Development Programme sponsored by MHRD under Community Development through Polytechnics (CDTP) Scheme, for female candidates, is starting from October 01, 2012.

She said that the training of Garment Making, Beautician & Hair Dressing, MS Office & Internet Basics, Embroidery & Needle Work, Textile Dying & Printing, Typing & Typewriter Maintenance shall be imparted at University Women?s Polytechnic Campus (Main Centre) while the Training for Cutting & Tailoring, Garment Making, Computer Basics, Patchwork & Embroidery will be provided at Maulana Azad Nagar, Kasimpur, Zohrabagh, Chharra, Atrauli, Jalalpur, Alambagh / Nagla Centres.

She also said that the training is meant for needy female candidates belonging to the economically & socially backward section of the society. There is no age limit, no qualification, no admission or tuition fee for the training. The Training material will be provided by the Institution.

Mrs. Bano said that interested candidates may obtain admission form University Women's Polytechnic or from the respective Extension Centre from August 21, 2012. The last date for submission of completed admission form September 03, 2012.
