All these five days, there shall be cultural programs in the evenings. The special attraction is the musical evening on 21st Oct’12 by a leading singer from Kolkata, who promises to mesmerize her fans in Bangalore.
Adding to the flavour of celebration, first time in Bangalore, the popular Bengali film “Bhooter Bhabisshat” will be shown on a huge screen (from 10 pm till midnight) as the ladies prepare for the auspicious hour of SANDHI PUJA.
Also part of the celebration is the release of the cultural magazine: Bodhon. Keeping Bengali traditions alive, this magazine akin to the “Puja Barshiki” is a repertoire of poems, essays, stories, art and other expressions of creativity by our members and well-wishers, both young and the elderly.
We celebrate festivals with zest and give back to society for the blessings it has endowed on us. “Bhog” will be distributed for one and all for all the five days.
